How to Set Up Tumblr API for Magento
In this article, you will learn how to find your Tumblr API and integrate Tumblr Login into Magento 2 Social Login Pro Extension. Please follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Step-by-Step action:
- Log into tumblr.com/oauth/apps.
- Click on “+ Register application” to start creating your Tumblr application.

Step-by-Step action:
- Indicate your Tumblr application name.
- Paste the website for your application.
- Provide short description of your application.
- Indicate the email associated with your Tumblr account.
- Paste default callback URL that can be found in your Magento backend-> Plumrocket-> Social Login Pro-> Tumblr-> Callback URL.
- Click on “I’m not a robot” Captcha button.
- Click on “Register” button to finish your application.

Step-by-Step action:
- Copy ” OAuth Consumer Key” of your Tumblr application to your clipboard.
- Copy “Secret Key” of your application to your clipboard.

Configuring Tumblr Integration in Magento Social Login Pro Extension
In this step you must update your Magento Social Login Pro Extension configuration. In your magento admin panel, go to “System” -> “Configuration” -> “Plumrocket Inc” -> “Social Login Pro” -> “Tumblr” Tab.
Step-by-Step action:
- Paste Consumer Key into the relevant field of your “Tumblr” backend tab.
- Enter Secret Key into the relevant field of your “Tumblr” backend tab.
- Press “Save Config” button.

Configuration of Tumblr Magento Social Login application is now completed.
