How to Set Up Goodreads API for Magento
In this article, you will learn how to enable and configure your Goodreads API in order to integrate Goodreads login into Magento Social Login Pro plugin. Please follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Step-by-Step action:
- Log into goodreads.com/api/keys .
- Indicate the name of your Goodreads application.
- Enter the name of your Company.
- Copy and paste Callback URL, that can be found in your Magento backend-> Plumrocket-> Social Login Pro-> Goodreads-> Callback URL.
- In order to proceed, please agree to the Goodreads developer terms of service.
- Press “Apply for a Developer Key” to create your Goodreads application.
Step-by-Step action:
- Copy “key” to your clipboard.
- Copy “secret” to your clipboard.
Configuring Goodreads Integration in Magento Social Login Pro Extension
In this step you must update your Magento Social Login Pro Extension configuration. In your magento admin panel, go to “System” -> “Configuration” -> “Plumrocket Inc” -> “Social Login Pro” -> “Goodreads” Tab.
Step-by-Step action:
- Paste Key into the relevant field of your “Goodreads” backend tab.
- Insert Secret key into the relevant field of your “Goodreads” backend tab.
- Press “Save Config” button to save your settings.
Configuration of Goodreads Magento Social Login application is now completed.
