Magento 2 Store Credit Extension

• FEATURES FOR CUSTOMERS
  • Customers can view their full store credit balance in their accounts:
    • Store credit balance is displayed in customer “Account Dashboard” and “My Store Credit” account tabs.
    • On the “My Store Credit” page, customers can subscribe or unsubscribe from store credit balance update emails.
    • The store credit balance history grid displays transaction type (refunded, updated, used, earned), transaction description, balance change (+- amount), remaining balance and transaction date.
  • Customers can apply store credit at checkout by selecting the Magento store credit payment method. Depending on your settings, the customer will be able to enter any custom amount of store credit or apply the maximum available credit amount.
    • The promotional store credit is earned automatically once all conditions of store credit earning rules are met.
    • Here are a couple of examples of store credit promotions:
      • Spend $300 on Samsung gadgets and earn $25 store credit.
      • Buy any 3 bottles of wine between December 25 and January 3rd and receive $10 store credit.
      • Buy a winter hat, jacket and boots and earn $50 store credit.
  • Customers can buy “Store Credit Vouchers” aka gift cards, and earn extra credits as a bonus offer.
    • Store Credit Voucher is a virtual product created by admin. By using store credit earning rules, admin can offer an incentive for customers to buy store credit vouchers.
    • Here is an example of store credit voucher: Buy a $100 Store Credit Voucher & Get $10 Free Bonus = $110 value
• FEATURES FOR MERCHANTS
  • Admin can view and manage store credit of each customer:
    • View store credit balance for each website.
    • Subscribe or Unsubscribe customers from store credit balance update email
    • Update customer store credit balance, notify the client by email and add a custom message.
    • Full balance history grid allows monitoring of all store credit related transactions.
  • Admin can create store credit earning rules:
    • Earning rules are great for marketing promotions as admin can activate them only during special periods, as well as enable them only for selected website and customer groups.
    • Similar to Magento Shopping Cart Price Rules, Admin can set Store Credit earning rule Conditions and Actions.
    • The following store credit earning rule actions are supported:
      • Give X credits
      • Give X percent of the product price in credits
      • For every Y amount in price, give X credits
      • For every Y qty purchased, give X credits
    • Store Credit Earning Rules are intended to be used for three types of promotions:
      • Limited time special holiday offers (buy any 2 Christmas sweaters and earn $20 store credit), Bulk buying (spend $100 or more on diapers and earn $5 store credit), Daily deals (buy Apple watch and earn $10 back in store credit).
      • Admin can create a virtual product and offer “Store Credit Vouchers”. Similar to Gift Cards, Magento store credit vouchers will be automatically redeemed and deposited to the customer store credit balance after purchase. Admin can configure store credit earning rules to offer a free bonus with purchase of a store credit voucher (such as “buy $50 store credit voucher and receive +$5 free = $55 value”).
  • The “Manage Customer Credits” grid in backend allows admin to view Magento Customer Credit of all registered users in one location.
  • The Store Credit “Transaction History” grid let's admin view, sort and search for any transaction using these fields: Customer ID, Customer Name, Customer Email, Website, Transaction Type, Description, Balance Change, Remaining Balance and Date.
  • In module configuration, Admin can specify how store credits should be applied and configure email notifications.
    • Customers can apply custom credit amount, manually apply all available credits and auto-apply credits to an order.
    • Extension can be configured to apply store credit on tax and/or shipping.
    • Plugin offers to automatically subscribe customers to balance update emails.
  • When Credit Memo is created in Magento backend, admin can refund full or partial order balance to Store Credit.
    • In credit memo all spent store credits will be automatically refunded to the customer’s store credit balance, however, admin can additionally refund to store credit amount paid via other payment methods.
    • If the customer earned store credit on order during the promotion (using store credit earning rules), and partial credit memo is created, the admin will be notified about the earned store credit and can deduct it as well.
