Magento Private Sales Package v3.x Uninstalling

In order to uninstall the Private Sales Package – please follow the steps below.

If you need to disable the extension – please read the instructions below in order to learn how to just disable each and every extension from the package separately.

Important Information:

Use the guides below in order to only disable the extensions.
Please note – Removal Step is one for the whole Private Sales Package and is provided after this step.

Disabling Extensions

Detailed description:

Removing Extensions

Quick Package Deactivation

In order to quickly deactivate the package, you will have to rename this extensions’ config files

/app/etc/modules/Plumrocket_Privatesales.xml
/app/etc/modules/Plumrocket_Cartreservation.xml
/app/etc/modules/Plumrocket_SocialLogin.xml
/app/etc/modules/Plumrocket_Rewards.xml
/app/etc/modules/Plumrocket_Popuplogin.xml
/app/etc/modules/Plumrocket_Reservationaftercheckout.xml
/app/etc/modules/Plumrocket_Invitations.xml

by changing its extension from “.xml” into something like “.xml_”

After you rename the file be sure to clear Magento cache.

Removing Magento Extension Manually

If you want to delete all the files and folders including all the extension-related data stored in Magento database, you will have to delete all the files from the list below (note, CODE_POOL can be either community or local folder):

Automated Extension Removal

In order to remove the package by means of a script follow the steps described below.

1. Download the remove_module_privatesale_package.zip archive and unzip it.

2. Upload it to the root directory of the site as shown below:

Detailed description:

  1. This is your client side. You will see your package removal script file.
  2. This is your root directory on server side. This is where the file should be uploaded.
  3. The file must be uploaded to the server. Select the file and press the right mouse button.
  4. Select the “Upload” option in order to upload the file to the server.

3.You should enter the script path in your browser’s address bar and follow this address. The path format is:

www.yourdomain.com/remove_module_privatesale_package.php

where “yourdomain” is the name of your domain.
