Here you will learn how to configure your membership site email settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note, these settings cannot be found in standard Magento functionality. In order to be able to configure these settings, you will have to download the free module Advanced Smtp – ArtsOn.IT first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do this, go to http:\/\/www.magentocommerce.com\/magento-connect\/advanced-smtp-artson-it.html<\/a>. After the module is downloaded and installed use the instructions below to access the page settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step-by-Step action:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on the “System” tab in main menu.<\/li>
  2. Select “Configuration”.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Detailed description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select “Advanced Smtp Settings” from the section “Advanced” of the “Configuration” tab.<\/strong><\/li>
    2. Option “Enable Advanced Smtp”:<\/strong> allows you to enable or disable Advanced Smtp.<\/li>
    3. Option “Auth Mode”:<\/strong> allows you to select the authorization mode from the drop-down list.<\/li>
    4. Option “Username”:<\/strong> Enter the user name here.<\/li>
    5. Option “Password”:<\/strong> Enter password here.<\/li>
    6. Option “Smtp host”:<\/strong> Set the Smtp host.<\/li>
    7. Option “Smtp Port”:<\/strong> Set the Smtp port.<\/li>
    8. Option “Use SSL”:<\/strong> Indicate whether SSL connection will be used. (If you select “Yes”, you can also select the connection protocol to be used with email SMTP server: Secure Socket Layer or Transport Layer Security.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
