Activating MailChimp Extension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to access the MailChimp extension configuration page in Magento log into the admin area and follow the instructions below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step-by-Step action:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Press the “System” tab in the main menu of Magento.<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Choose “Configuration”.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    To activate and connect your MailChimp account and Private Sales Script follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Detailed description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select the corresponding tab in the “Customers” tab to access MailChimp configuration page.<\/strong><\/li>
    2. Move to the tab “MageMonkey – MailChimp integration by ebizmarts”.<\/strong><\/li>
    3. Field “Enabled”:<\/strong> Set “YES” to activate module.<\/li>
    4. Field “API Key”:<\/strong> Enter your API key which you can get in the Account section of MailChimp. This will enable the connection with your Mailchimp account in Magento.<\/li>
    5. Press “Save Config” button.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Mailing List<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      If you followed the previous steps carefully, after the extension is activated you will be able to select the mail list that you have previously created in Private Sales v.2.0 Step 1: Creating MailChimp list<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Important Information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To avoid any problems with mailing, make sure the default settings look like those in the screenshot below.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
