Plumrocket Extension Installation without sample data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Before you start working with this Magento private sales extension you will have to get a database. If you don’t have one, ?reate a new Magento database using your phpmyadmin or from the console (for example “mydatabase”).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. You will have to download Magento. To do this, go to http:\/\/www.magentocommerce.com\/download<\/a> and follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on “Release Archives”.<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Select Version 1.8.1.0.<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Select the type of archive.<\/strong><\/li>
  4. Press “Download” to download Magento Community Edition ver 1.8.1.0.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    3. Install your Magento store, use your database “mystoredatabase” (http:\/\/www.magentocommerce.com\/knowledge-base\/entry\/magento-installation-guide\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Install your Magento Extensions (To learn more about the features and how to configure the extensions, read the sections “Installation” and “Configuration” of all the extensions here: \/docs\/magento-extensions<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Order and install following Magento extensions from Plumrocket Inc. (not required but suggested for a better user experience):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    a) Free Plumrocket Twitter & Facebook Login Magento Extension (https:\/\/plumrocket.com\/magento-1-twitter-facebook-login<\/a>) Or, if you want to have more than 50 social networks logins: b) Plumrocket Social Login Pro Magento Extension (https:\/\/plumrocket.com\/magento-1-social-login-pro<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Copy the Theme files to your Magento root directory using the FTP File Manager and recursively set permission of directory “media” to 777.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. This is the catalog of files.<\/strong><\/li>
    2. \n This is your client side.<\/strong> You will see the catalog of files.<\/li>
    3. \n This is your root directory on server side.<\/strong> This is where the files should be uploaded.<\/li>
    4. All the files must be uploaded to the server.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      4. Press “??”.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        If you don’t have the “Config.sql” file, skip this step.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        Step-by-Step action:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Select your database.<\/strong><\/li>
        2. Press “Import”.<\/strong><\/li>
        3. Press “Browse” and select the file Config.sql, that is located in the subcategory Theme of the category private-sale-script-v20.<\/strong><\/li>
        4. Press “Go”.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

          8. In order to enable the theme, follow the instructions below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
