Steps Before you Proceed with the Installation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Check if your server meets all necessary requirements<\/strong>

    First of all make sure your system meet the requirements necessary for the correct functioning of our Magento extension. For more details on system requirements read Magento system requirements<\/a>.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Disable Magento Compilation<\/strong>

    Make sure that Compilation is disabled in your Magento. Please follow the steps outlined in this Wiki article<\/a> to disable Compilation.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Enable Magento Cache<\/strong>

    Make sure to enable Magento Cache<\/a>.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Manual Installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To install this extesnion, you will need the archive containing it. The unpacked archive and catalog of files are shown below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In order to perform FULL installation of Magento Special Settings Extension, please do the Step 1 and Step 2 below:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. In the extracted folder navigate inside “step1” directory and upload its content into your store root.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        You may use any FTP-client in order to upload files to the server. (To show how it works we used the FTP-client FileZilla.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. This is your client side.<\/strong> You will see the unpacked catalog containing the Extension.<\/li>
        2. This is your root directory on server side.<\/strong> This is where the files should be uploaded.<\/li>
        3. All the files must be uploaded to the server.<\/strong> Select files and press the right mouse button.<\/li>
        4. Select the “Upload” option for these files.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

              The screenshot below depicts possible difficulties that can occur when you upload the files. In case there are identical files on the server, they should be overwritten. Below you will find detailed tips on how to overwrite files (when using the FTP-client FileZilla):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. If you receive the notification “Target file already exists” from your FTP-client, please, follow the tips described below.<\/strong><\/li>
              2. Select the “Overwrite” radio button in order to overwrite files.<\/strong><\/li>
              3. Tick the “Apply to current queue only” ?heckbox in order to save these settings for all similar cases of current queue configuration in the future.<\/strong><\/li>
              4. Press “OK”.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

                Clear Magento Cache<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                When the extension is installed, don’t forget to clear Magento cache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                To do this, follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                1. Go to the Admin Panel >> System.<\/strong><\/li>
                2. Click on Cache Management.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

                    After the extension is installed successfully you can enable the magento compilation. Note: You don’t have to enable compilation if it was disabled prior to extension installation. Please follow the steps outlined in this Wiki article<\/a> if you decide to run the compilation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

                    Sign-out and Sign-in back to Admin Panel. Then you will see the installed extension as shown below. For more information on the Extensions preview and settings visit our “Configuration” section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
