Disabling Extension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to enable\/disable Our Magento Live Feed Extension,<\/a> you can use the extension settings. Below you will learn how to access the extension settings page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select “System”.<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Select “Configuration”.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select “Plumrocket Live Feed” in the left menu.<\/strong><\/li>
    2. Option “Enable Plumrocket Live Feed”: Set “Yes” to enable the Module or “No” to disable it.<\/strong><\/li>
    3. Press the button “Save Config” to save the settings.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Quick Module Deactivation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      In order to quickly deactivate the module, you will have to rename this module’s config file<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \/app\/etc\/modules\/Plumrocket_Feed.xml<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n
      by changing its extension from “.xml” into something like “.xml_”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      After you rename the file be sure to clear Magento cache<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      Removing Magento Extension Manually<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      If you want to delete all the files and folders including all the extension-related data stored in Magento database, you will have to delete all the files from the list below (note, CODE_POOL can be either community or local folder):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      If you are using Magento Live Feed v1.1.0 or higher please delete all the files from the list below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Automated Extension Removal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      In order to remove a module by means of a script follow the steps described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      1. Download the remove_module_live_feed.zip<\/a> archive and unzip it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      2. Upload it to the root directory of the site as shown below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. \n        This is your client side.<\/strong> You will see your module removal script file.<\/li>
      2. \n        This is your root directory on server side.<\/strong> This is where the file should be uploaded.<\/li>
      3. \n        All the files must be uploaded to the server.<\/strong> Select the file and press the right mouse button<\/li>
      4. Select the “Upload” option in order to upload the file to the server.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
