Update via Composer<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background\" href=\"#update-extension-via-ftp\" style=\"background-color:#c9383d\"><strong>2. Update via FTP<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"update-extension-via-the-composer\">Update Extension via Composer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to update your Magento 2 Base extension via Composer, open the console (SSH terminal) and follow the commands:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>In the terminal, switch to your Magento 2 root directory using the following command:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><div><\/div><pre><code class=\"language-bash\">cd \/FULL_PATH_TO_YOUR_MAGENTO2<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>where &#8220;FULL_PATH_TO_YOUR_MAGENTO2&#8221; is the path to your Magento 2 folder on your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\"><li>Update your Plumrocket extension to the latest version:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><div><\/div><pre><code class=\"language-bash\">composer update plumrocket\/module-plumbase<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>After running this command, you will be prompted to enter the username and password (skip this step if your credentials were saved during the installation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Installation_of_extension_via_composer_by_plumrocket_v1-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15006\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to find your personal Username and Password to update the extension via Composer, log in to your account at <a href=\"https:\/\/plumrocket.com\/\">https:\/\/plumrocket.com<\/a> &gt; select &#8220;<strong>My Account<\/strong>&#8221; in the header menu &gt; &#8220;<strong>My Downloads<\/strong>&#8221; tab &gt; find the required Plumrocket extension in the list &gt; press the &#8220;<strong>Install via Composer<\/strong>&#8221; link. Please see the screenshot below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group pr-notice pr-notice-info\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p class=\"pr-notice-title\">Step-by-step guide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Copy the <strong>&#8220;Username&#8221;<\/strong> key from the popup window.<\/li><li>Copy the <strong>&#8220;Password&#8221;<\/strong> key from the popup window.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Composer_credentials-7-1024x526.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15007\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\"><li>Run the next four Magento 2 commands:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><div><\/div><pre><code class=\"language-bash\">php bin\/magento cache:flush\nphp bin\/magento setup:upgrade\nphp bin\/magento setup:di:compile\nphp bin\/magento setup:static-content:deploy<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Installation_of_extension_via_composer_by_plumrocket_v3-27.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15009\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After running these commands, the extension should be updated successfully. All archive files are dynamic and the latest version of the Base plugin will be loaded accordingly.
