Switch to your Magento 2 root directory in the terminal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><div><\/div><pre><code class=\"language-bash\">cd \/FULL_PATH_TO_YOUR_MAGENTO2<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>where &#8220;FULL_PATH_TO_YOUR_MAGENTO2&#8221; is the path to your Magento 2 folder on your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-step-2-add-the-plumrocket-repository-to-your-composer-configurations\">Step 2. Add the Plumrocket repository to your Composer configurations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><div><\/div><pre><code class=\"language-bash\">composer config repositories.plumrocket composer https:\/\/plumrocket.com\/repo\/<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-step-3-download-plumrocket-extension-files\">Step 3. Download Plumrocket extension files<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><div><\/div><pre><code class=\"language-bash\">composer require plumrocket\/gdpr-metapackage<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>After running this command, you may be prompted to enter the username and password (see the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/plumrocket.com\/docs\/general\/composer-repository-keys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How to Get Plumrocket Composer Repository Keys<\/a>&nbsp;user guide).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-step-4-install-database-and-static-resources\">Step 4. Install database and static resources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><div><\/div><pre><code class=\"language-bash\">php bin\/magento cache:flush \nphp bin\/magento setup:upgrade\nphp bin\/magento setup:di:compile\nphp bin\/magento setup:static-content:deploy<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>After running these commands, the extension should be installed successfully. Set the serial key<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group pr-notice pr-notice-info\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p class=\"pr-notice-title\">Step-by-step guide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Navigate to your Magento 2 Admin Panel and click on the&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Plumrocket&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li><li>If there is a <strong>&#8220;GDPR&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;tab in the list, it means that the extension has been successfully installed.<\/li><li>Navigate to the&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;GDPR&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;-&gt; select the&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Configuration&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;option.<\/li><li>Your&nbsp;<strong>Serial Key<\/strong>&nbsp;field should be auto-filled with the green check mark displayed. This means that the Serial Key has been successfully activated, and the extension can be enabled. However, if the green check mark is not there &#8211; you will need to enter your product Serial Key manually. You will see the unpacked catalog containing the GDPR Extension.<\/li><li>This is your root directory on the server side. This is where the files should be uploaded.<\/li><li>All the files have to be uploaded to the server.
