Creating Static Banner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this article you will learn how to create Magento Static Banner in your Banner Pro Extension<\/a>. Please, follow the guide below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you proceed with Static Image Banner creating, please, make sure you have already created a a placeholder<\/a> for this banner, as well as a campaign<\/a> and a a banner group<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Follow these steps in order to create new Static Image Banner for your Magento Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detailed description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. In the campaign tree, locate the banner group you have created.<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Go to “Banners” tab.<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Press on the “Add New Banner” button to create new banner.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Detailed description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. “Name”:<\/strong> specify the name of a banner in this field, e.g. “Top Image Banner”.<\/li>
    2. “Status”:<\/strong> option allows you to enable or disable a banner.<\/li>
    3. “Banner Group”:<\/strong> field shows you the banner group this banner is assigned to.<\/li>
    4. “Placeholder”:<\/strong> option allows you to set the location where the banner will be displayed at your store.<\/li>
    5. In the “Show Only On Product Pages”<\/strong> field you may choose whether the banner will be displayed on the product pages only.<\/li>
    6. Input the number in the “Priority”<\/strong> field. Note:<\/strong> The smaller the number – the higher is the priority. Banners with the highest priority will be displayed in banner sliders and static banners first.<\/li>
    7. “Destination URL”:<\/strong> enter the url where the visitor will be redirected to after clicking on the banner.<\/li>
    8. Select Image<\/strong> or HTML<\/strong> banner type in the “Banner Type”<\/strong> field.<\/li>
    9. After you selected Image<\/strong> banner type, upload the image file of your banner.<\/li>
    10. For SEO purposes you may specify the image title in the “Image Title”<\/strong> field.<\/li>
    11. “Target”:<\/strong> field allows you to select which way the destination URL will be opened in (e.g. in a new window or tab).<\/li>
    12. “Display Restrictions”<\/strong> field allows to set restrictions for a banner by pages. Specify rules to select the pages to display the banner on.<\/li>
    13. Press on the “Save Banner”<\/strong> option to save all your settings configured for the “Top Image Banner”.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
