Here you will learn how to correctly install the Magento 2 Social Login Pro Extension<\/a> using two methods – Installation via the FTP or Composer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First of all make sure your system requirements meet the ones necessary for the correct functioning of our Magento 2 social login extension. For more details on system requirements read Magento 2 system requirements<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Disabling Free Twitter & Facebook Login Module<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to avoid conflicts, if you have previously installed our free Twitter & Facebook Login – you will need to remove this free extension. Please follow the instructions below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important information!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure to follow these steps only if Plumrocket Twitter & Facebook Extension has been previously installed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to Twitter & Facebook Extension Configuration section.<\/li>
  2. Disable extension in Twitter & Facebook Configuration section.<\/li>
  3. Disable Twitter & Facebook Extension via “app\/etc\/config.php” (by setting ‘Plumrocket_SocialLoginFree’ => 0) or run SSH command “php bin\/magento module:disable Plumrocket_SocialLoginFree”. Make sure to flush Magento Cache.<\/li>
  4. Navigate back to Plumrocket section and verify you no longer see Twitter & Facebook Extension – only Social Login Pro Extension should remain.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    You can choose one of the following two methods to install the extension on your magento 2 store:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
    1. Installation via FTP<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n
    2. Installation via the Composer<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Extension Installation via FTP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1. Download and unzip the Magento 2 Social Login Pro extension’s files as shown below:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Detailed description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log into your account at https:\/\/plumrocket.com<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>
    2. Select “My Account” in the menu<\/strong> . (To open this page you have to log in first)<\/li>
    3. Navigate to “My Downloads” in the menu.<\/strong><\/li>
    4. Press on the “Download” link to download the latest version of your Plumrocket Magento 2 extension.<\/strong><\/li>
    5. Unzip the Magento 2 Social Login Pro extension’s files and proceed to the next step.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Step 2. Upload files to the server using any FTP-client (To show you how it works, we used the FileZilla FTP-client.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Detailed description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. \nThis is your client side.<\/strong> You will see the unpacked catalog containing the Social Login Pro Extension for Magento 2.<\/li>
      2. \nThis is your root directory on server side.<\/strong> This is where the files should be uploaded.<\/li>
      3. \nAll the files must be uploaded to the server.<\/strong> Select files and press the right mouse button.<\/li>
      4. Select the “Upload” option for these files.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        Step 3. SSH Installation (requires SSH access to your webserver)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Note: In case you do not have SSH access, you can install the Plumrocket extension using Web installation method<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. In terminal, switch to your Magento 2 root directory using command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        cd \/FULL_PATH_TO_YOUR_MAGENTO2<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n
        where “FULL_PATH_TO_YOUR_MAGENTO2” is the path to your Magento 2 folder on your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
        2. Run the next three Magento 2 commands:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        php bin\/magento setup:upgrade\nphp bin\/magento setup:di:compile\nphp bin\/magento setup:static-content:deploy<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n
        After running these commands, the extension should be installed successfully. Similar message should be displayed in your console as displayed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 4: Check if the installation has been completed successfully, and set the serial key:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Important Information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
        1. Navigate to your Magento 2 Admin Panel and click on the “Plumrocket”<\/strong> tab.<\/li>
        2. If there is the “Social Login Pro”<\/strong> tab in the list, it means that the extension has been successfully installed.<\/li>
        3. Navigate to the “Social Login Pro”<\/strong> -> select the “Configuration”<\/strong> option.<\/li>
        4. Your Serial Key<\/strong> field should be auto-filled with the green check mark displayed. This means that the Serial Key has been successfully activated and the extension can be enabled. However, if the green check mark is not there – you will need to enter your product Serial Key manually. Please follow the License Installation for Magento 2 instructions<\/a> for more information.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

          Next Step<\/strong> > Magento 2 Social Login Pro v3.x Configuration<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
          Extension Installation via the Composer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          Step 1. In order to install your Magento 2 Social Login Pro extension via the Composer, open the console (SSH terminal) and follow the commands:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
          1. In terminal, switch to your Magento 2 root directory using command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
          <\/div>
          cd \/FULL_PATH_TO_YOUR_MAGENTO2<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n
          where “FULL_PATH_TO_YOUR_MAGENTO2” is the path to your Magento 2 folder on your server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
          2.After this, add the Plumrocket repository to your Composer configurations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          composer config repositories.plumrocket \ncomposer https:\/\/plumrocket.com\/repo\/<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n
          3. Request the Plumrocket Extension to be added to your Magento 2 store:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          composer require plumrocket\/module-psloginpro<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n
          After running this command, you will be required to enter the username and password, if you are installing the Plumrocket extension via Composer for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          In order to find your personal Username and Password for the Composer installation, go to your account at https:\/\/plumrocket.com<\/a> > select “My Account” in the header menu > select the “My Downloads” tab > find the required Plumrocket extension in the list > and press the “Install via Composer” link<\/strong> .           Step-by-Step action:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
          1. Copy the “Username”<\/strong> key from the popup window.<\/li>
