Magento Extensions Monthly Updates – January 2022

The first month of 2022 has been a fruitful one for Magento updates! As always, our clients can enjoy Magento extensions, which are updated on a regular basis to ensure compatibility and match the latest Magento 2 releases.

This time, the Magento 2 Data Feed Generator Extension has received the most significant updates. We’ve added a new Facebook Product Feed template to make it easier to generate Facebook data feeds, as well as added several tags and modifiers to make manual data feed creation more flexible. Additionally, the support of multi-select attributes now allows displaying attribute labels (e.g. men, women) to be displayed in data feeds instead of attribute IDs (e.g. 156,157) for better convenience.

The Magento 2 Advanced Reviews & Reminders Extension has been improved to perform better on product pages which may have a positive impact on TBT and overall Core Web Vitals score.

We also made the Magento 2 AMP Extension more functional and up-to-date with recent releases, adding the ability to specify the product’s Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) attribute for Rich Snippets, and adding the support for the latest version of amp-toolbox.

We have also improved the second version of the Magento 2 Order Status & Shipping Tracking Extension, as well as fixed some compatibility issues for other Magento 2 extensions.

Last but not least, we do not forget about Mаgento 1 extensions that many users are still using even though Adobe has ended support for the Magento 1.x.x release. Our Newsletter Popup Extension has received the support of Constant Contact Email Marketing Software the ability to preview the Constant Contact custom fields from the Magento admin panel.
