Magento Extensions Monthly Updates – May 2021

Summertime has just begun, so it’s time to review the progress made in May!

Our main goal is to constantly update our Magento extensions to keep them compatible with the latest changes on the web and the Magento platform itself. Moreover, our development team has been working hard in order to release the new, third version of the Magento AMP extension that will fundamentally change your experience with AMP. So stay tuned for this upcoming release and be one step ahead of your competitors.

Last month, the Plumrocket team improved and optimized 5 extensions to bring you new features and the best performance of the Magento store.

One of the biggest updates is the new version released for Magento 2 Affiliate Programs Extension. In the third version, we have added the support of Exclusive Coupon Codes (ECC) for the AvantLink affiliate network. We also updated the Add New Affiliate Program page and updated the list of all affiliate networks supported by the extension. Moreover, our developers have optimized the number of database queries to make the extension run faster and smoother on the Magento 2 platform.

We have also focused on checking our extensions for compatibility with the latest API requirements of the supported social networks. Therefore, we have updated the GitHub API authentication method in the Magento 2 Social Login Pro Extension. Your store visitors can continue to securely log in/register at your website with their GitHub account while increasing verified and reliable profile data.

Magento 2 Returns and Exchanges (RMA) Extension also experienced changes in May. From now on, the extension is well optimized to work smoothly with a large number of returns (10,000+). We also fixed the PHP error that occurred using REST API to filter returns by user data, as well as the display of images inserted into Quick Response Templates.
